I was hoping to recognize my ancestors on this site. My great great great grandfather was Michael Campbell SR. He migrated from Scotland to Ireland where he married. His two sons, Barnabus & John, were born in Ireland. The four of them migrated to Quebec, Canada. He married a second time. To this union Peter & Elec were born. He married again with two children, Michael Jr. & Mary. Michael Jr. would be my great great grandfather. If anyone has information on this family please help me fill in the blanks.

Hello to all Campbell's. I have just discovered this site and look forward to getting to know some of you. I'm forming a charitable org to promote the understanding and the performance of the hand-crafted guitar. If you're interested in such things please visit our site below. I'd love to hear from some of you either way. Best Russell Campbell

10 Kristan-searching for some family info! Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 3:33 am
hello! my grandmother was born a Campbell and i\'m trying to find out some info on her paternal side. it\'s been very hard since she knows basically nothing about her fathers side of the family. i will give as much info as possible. his name was Alexander Campbell. my grandmother says that he was a \"child of the streets\"(not sure if he ran away from home) in NYC during the turn of the century. He later became a tap dancing clown for the circus and eventually owned his own dance studio in NYC. He married a Mary Ellen Guilfoyle and had 4 children, Anne, Rose (my grandmother),Nathaniel and Alexander. He died when my grandmother was just 8 yrs old. that is all the info i have of him. if this sounds familiar to anybody out there, i would be grateful if you would contact me. i would appreciate the slightest bit of info. thank you!
