My name is Pat Campbell Burdick, wife, married to a Macdougall!!--haha--grandmother and hooked on finding all my Campbell family lines. My family line is Breadalbane.
James Campbell 1743- Killin Perthshire,, s/o Alexander Campbell and Mary Cameron , is my 4th greatgrandfather.
I need to find a Nancie Dobbins as she has the same family connections as I. I found her site "treevines" on this site today--.Her email does not work-- Does anyone know her? . Nancie where are you?? Your greatgrandfather ,the Honorable Archibald Campbell- 1828 PEI -s/o James Townsend Campbell, is my 1st cousin 4x removed!

hello! my grandmother was born a Campbell and i\'m trying to find out some info on her paternal side. it\'s been very hard since she knows basically nothing about her fathers side of the family. i will give as much info as possible.
his name was Alexander Campbell. my grandmother says that he was a \"child of the streets\"(not sure if he ran away from home) in NYC during the turn of the century. He later became a tap dancing clown for the circus and eventually owned his own dance studio in NYC. He married a Mary Ellen Guilfoyle and had 4 children, Anne, Rose (my grandmother),Nathaniel and Alexander. He died when my grandmother was just 8 yrs old. that is all the info i have of him. if this sounds familiar to anybody out there, i would be grateful if you would contact me. i would appreciate the slightest bit of info. thank you!

I am a Highland Scot.I am also a fluent Gaelic speaker whose mother is Catherine Campbell.She still lives on The Island of Lewis Scotland.I now live in England but go back to The Old Home every year.My father was Donald MacDonald from the same Island. God bless you all.

Hi everyone, I have a Campbell who married a McDonald !!
My G Grandmother was Isabella Campbell (1826-1895) She was born in Fodderty,Ross & Cromarty,Scotland. She married Angus McDonald (1823-1879) who was born in Inverness-shire.Scotland. They lived in Banffshire,Scotland and then moved to Fraserburgh,Aberdeenshire which is where they both died.

I loved the Tartan Day 2007 parade. I marched with MTA friends of Jim Campbell (LI Bus). I had the great pleasure of working with Jim and my company misses him. My condolences to his family down south and his MTA NYC buddies.
