The 2002 Annual General Meeting and Gathering held in Nashville, TN
Ed Cattell, Jr. was elected President, Walter J. Campbell, Vice President
along with four Trustees: Bruce Campbell, White Rock, British Columbia,
Canada, J. A. Barton Campbell, Midlothian, VA, Michael J. Fisher, Fenton,
MI and Walton R.Haddix Albany, KY.
Clansman of the Year Award was presented to William and Rebecca Campbell,
Shelburne Falls, Commissioners, Region One. Their work to serve Western
Massachusetts has expanded to staffing CCSNA tents throughout New England.
President's Award was given to Betsy Campbell, wife of President David R.
Campbell for her outstanding support of the Society.

Alaska.

SPECIAL SERVICES OF REMEMBRANCE FOR THOSE LOST ON SEPTEMBER 11
Throughout the City of New York there are many events planned to remember
those lost on September 11th and the following religious services (list removed), may be
of interest to many Campbells and their friends.
We remember among the victims of September 11, 2001, five Campbells who
gave their lives to serve others:

10,000 pipers
February 27, 2002
10,000 pipers and pipe bands from around the world will assemble in New
York City on National Tartan Day, April 6, 2002.
There will be special events going on all week to celebrate Scottish heritage. This event will benefit Gilda's Club and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
ScottishPower, a Scottish-based international energy company listed on
the
London and New York Stock Exchanges is a new sponsor to help ensure a
permanent presence in New York.
ScottishPower Tunes of Glory will
celebrate
the contributions of Scots in the United States and around the world.
To date, Magnus Orr, Event Director, reports that 20 countries are
represented and bands from 46 of the 50 states have signed up. Registration is
